Basic Life Support Training - 1 Day Course (NUCO Accredited)
Basic Life Support & AED Level 2 Training for Young Learners Aged 14+ years
The Basic Life Support 3 Year Accredited qualification will give learners the skills and knowledge to act in an emergency situation providing the casualty with critical life saving assistance until support arrives.
The qualification is delivered following the protocols set by the Resuscitation Council (UK) Guidelines
The course covers:
- Primary Survey
- Recovery Position
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
- Safe use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
- Choking
Emergency First Aid - 1 Day Course (NUCO Accredited)
First Aid is a mixture of theory and practical based training. Using a blended approach, learners will develop new skills and knowledge to enable them to provide safe, responsive emergency first aid care.
The 1 day course is designed to build learners confidence and support them through different scenarios which they may come across either in work or at home.
The course is fully accredited with NUCO.
A range of subjects are covered, including:-
- The role of a First Aider - Responsibilities & Reporting
- Assessment of the situation - DRABC
- Dealing with an unresponsive casualty
- Resuscitation and AED awareness
- Anatomy
- Choking
- Burns
- Minor Injuries

- Basic Hygiene in First Aid
Please Note:
Please can learners ensure they wear trousers and a full shoe to participate in this training. Learners need to be physically fit and well to undertake the activities for First Aid Training, which requires learners to carry out CPR on the floor.
First Aid at Work - 3 Day Course (NUCO Accredited)
First Aid is a mixture of theory and practical based training. Using a blended approach, learners will develop new skills and knowledge to enable them to provide safe, responsive emergency first aid care.
This 3 day qualification is the most thorough First Aid Training and is designed to give learners the most comprehensive First Aid Training available for designated First Aiders.
This interactive and informative face to face delivered learning is designed to give learners the skills and knowledge to act in an emergency situation. The course is fully accredited with NUCO.

First Aid at Work - 2 Day Reaccreditation (NUCO Accredited)
First Aid is a mixture of theory and practical based training. Using a blended approach, learners will develop new skills and knowledge to enable them to provide safe, responsive emergency first aid care.
The course is a 2 day reaccreditation for anyone holding a First Aid at Work 3 Day certificate. Attendance at this 2 day course must be within the 3 year accreditation expiry date, otherwise the full 3 day course will need to be retaken. This interactive and informative learning is designed to refresh learners knowledge in order for them to become fully reaccredited. The course is fully accredited with NUCO.

Level 3 Award in Emergency Paediatric First Aid - 1 Day Course (NUCO Accredited)
The qualification is designed for learners with a responsibility for the care of children and babies and provides knowledge and skills to deal with a range of Paediatric First Aid conditions and incidents.
The purpose of the qualification is for the learner to attain the knowledge and practical competence required to deal with a range of Paediatric First Aid situations. This course covers life-threatening conditions including CPR, bleeding control and choking.
The course is fully accredited with NUCO.

The 3 year accredited qualification (Ofsted approved) is designed for learners with a responsibility for the care of children and babies and provides knowledge and skills to deal with a range of Paediatric First Aid conditions and incidents. The purpose of the qualification is for the learner to attain the knowledge and practical competence required to deal with a range of Paediatric First Aid situations.
This 2 day (12 hour) course covers:
- The Role of the Paediatric First Aider
- Primary Survey

- Wounds, Bleeding & Shock
- Allergic reactions inc. anaphylaxis
