Basic Life Support & AED Level 2 Training for Young Learners Aged 14+ years
The Basic Life Support 3 Year Accredited qualification will give learners the skills and knowledge to act in an emergency situation providing the casualty with critical life saving assistance until support arrives.
The qualification is delivered following the protocols set by the Resuscitation Council (UK) Guidelines
The course covers:
First Aid is a mixture of theory and practical based training. Using a blended approach, learners will develop new skills and knowledge to enable them to provide safe, responsive emergency first aid care.
The 1 day course is designed to build learners confidence and support them through different scenarios which they may come across either in work or at home.
The course is fully accredited with NUCO.

Attendance at this 2 day course must be within the 3 year accreditation expiry date, otherwise the full 3 day course will need to be retaken. The purpose of the qualification is for the learner to attain the knowledge and practical competence required to deal with a range of Paediatric First Aid situations. This course covers life-threatening conditions including CPR, bleeding control and choking.
The course is fully accredited with NUCO.

First aid training enhances critical thinking and problem-solving skills giving children skills to assess situations quickly and make informed decisions, skills that are valuable beyond emergency scenarios.
