Basic Life Support Training - 1 Day Course (NUCO Accredited)
Basic Life Support & AED Level 2 Training for Young Learners Aged 14+ years
The Basic Life Support 3 Year Accredited qualification will give learners the skills and knowledge to act in an emergency situation providing the casualty with critical life saving assistance until support arrives.
The qualification is delivered following the protocols set by the Resuscitation Council (UK) Guidelines
The course covers:
- Primary Survey
- Recovery Position
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
- Safe use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
- Choking
Emergency First Aid - 1 Day Course (NUCO Accredited)
First Aid is a mixture of theory and practical based training. Using a blended approach, learners will develop new skills and knowledge to enable them to provide safe, responsive emergency first aid care.
The 1 day course is designed to build learners confidence and support them through different scenarios which they may come across either in work or at home.
The course is fully accredited with NUCO.

Fire Safety & Awareness - Half Day Course
This Half Day Training Course will provide learners with essential Fire Safety skills and knowledge.
By attending this interactive and engaging face-to-face delivered training learners will be equipped with skills to prevent, respond to, and manage fire emergencies effectively should they occur.
This course covers all you need to know about Fire Safety & Awareness, and includes what a Fire Marshal role is with practical and interactive elements to ensure that individuals are aware and prepared for any fire emergency situation.
Learners will:
- Discuss the dynamics of a Fire and the Fire Triangle
- Identify the most common causes of fires
- Discuss what to do in the event of an emergency
- Recognise ways to contribute to fire prevention
- Identify the role and responsibilities of the Fire Marshal
- Demonstrate a fire evacuation by following evacuation procedures
First Aid at Work - 3 Day Course (NUCO Accredited)
First Aid is a mixture of theory and practical based training. Using a blended approach, learners will develop new skills and knowledge to enable them to provide safe, responsive emergency first aid care.
This 3 day qualification is the most thorough First Aid Training and is designed to give learners the most comprehensive First Aid Training available for designated First Aiders.
This interactive and informative face to face delivered learning is designed to give learners the skills and knowledge to act in an emergency situation. The course is fully accredited with NUCO.

First Aid at Work - 2 Day Reaccreditation (NUCO Accredited)
First Aid is a mixture of theory and practical based training. Using a blended approach, learners will develop new skills and knowledge to enable them to provide safe, responsive emergency first aid care.
The course is a 2 day reaccreditation for anyone holding a First Aid at Work 3 Day certificate. Attendance at this 2 day course must be within the 3 year accreditation expiry date, otherwise the full 3 day course will need to be retaken. This interactive and informative learning is designed to refresh learners knowledge in order for them to become fully reaccredited. The course is fully accredited with NUCO.

Food Safety Training - 1 Day Course (Level 2 Highfield Accredited)
This 1 day Level 2 Award in Food Safety for Catering (RQF) is an OFQUAL recognised qualification and accredited by Highfield. This course prepares learners for employment in a catering role, or to support a role in the workplace. Learners will complete 10 modules in Food Safety:-

GDPR & Data Protection - 3 Hour Course
This 3 hour course provides participants with a clear understanding of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), including its key principles, legal requirements, and practical implications.
By attending this session, participants will ensure compliancy and promote the responsible handling of personal data and information within organisations.
Participants will also gain an understanding on Cyber Security to provide extra protection when handling data.
Learning Outcomes:
- Discuss what terms are used when discussing GDPR and Data Protection
- Identify different types of data (e.g. personal data)
- Define what is ‘special category’ data
- Identify the 7 principles of GDPR
- Recognise the rights every data subject has according to GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018
- Discuss ‘consent’ and ‘right of access’ within GDPR
- Identify what to do in the event of a data breach and the implications around this situation
- Recognise the regulations when transferring data outside of England
Level 3 Award in Emergency Paediatric First Aid - 1 Day Course (NUCO Accredited)
The qualification is designed for learners with a responsibility for the care of children and babies and provides knowledge and skills to deal with a range of Paediatric First Aid conditions and incidents.
The purpose of the qualification is for the learner to attain the knowledge and practical competence required to deal with a range of Paediatric First Aid situations. This course covers life-threatening conditions including CPR, bleeding control and choking.
The course is fully accredited with NUCO.

Manual Handling (Objects) - Half Day Course
This 3 hour course is face-to-face delivered by a qualified instructor, involving a mixture of training methods such as hands on activities, scenarios, group discussion, and practical to cover the different learning styles of the individual. Learners will develop their knowledge, skills and understanding of safer Manual Handling Techniques. The course provides learners with the safe techniques to effectively lift, carry and handle objects.
Learning Outcomes:
- Explain what is meant by Manual Handling
- Identify the requirements of the Manual Handling Operations Regulations 1992 (MHOR) and other relevant legislation
- Explain and understand biomechanical principles
- Discuss the most common causes of injury and potential long-term damage caused by using unsafe Manual Handling techniques
